    i don't have stage 2.
the other (not the mini-streame ) is 94 bolt-on 5 freltless with aguilar obp3. so its kind of different animal.. and its very powerful bass. some time too much.. the aguilar has very strong output. and 3 bands.
there are differences in the build quality and finish. and woods and electronics of course, but the gap is very small in my opinion. and the sound is very nice. punchy and bright but not too much. the preamp is not mec but something else but works nice and sound good with moderate output which is good imo.
the weight is light and nice and the neck is thin and narrow. hardware is great! i worried that the body is not enough curved. but it curved like my old streamer. and i like it very much.
seems like a great bass for the money.

To be honest, I don´t know. But I don´t think so, too. Better ask the guys at Warwick and see what they say.

the rumors are confusing..and not unambiguous..

is there warwick representative here in the forum? to chime in and dispel the mist?

maybe they also can tell also which preamp installed? i cant read what is written on it beneath all the cables.

how i contact them for asking those questions?

meanwhile, took it to some rehearsals with my bands and was very very happy! the sound and feel and weight and looks. all great! and got very good comments and compliments from band members! great purchase. great work warwick!

    Hi tomersg....

Send them an email with your questions. You'll hear back soon. Probably from the founder himself ;)

    info@warwick.de

    Congrats on the new Streamer!

Strange. Try again for sure...that is the right email. info@warwick.de

You could also try service@warwick.de and just tell em the the info email wasn't workin for ya.

You can also try the web form for questions.... http://www.warwickbass.com/en/Warwick---Company--Info--slash--Contact-.html#current_site_id

As Nacho suggested above....I don't think the Rockbass line has any fancy truss rods. Could be wrong though. Not a whole bunch is known beyond what the info sheet online says, for the Rockbass line. No mention of truss rod type.

Schlobodan, who mistakenly thought you had an SSII, is the Streamer (all things Warwick) guru around these parts. And WarwickHunt. They were giving him grief above, because he rarely gets anything Streamer related wrong ;)

Hardy was recently released from an insane asylum, be careful around him. Just laugh at whatever he says and don't look him in the eyes.

    :p

    and answer received:

    "Hi Tomer,

thanks for your email. The reinforcements in the neck are made of steel, not graphite.

Your bass has a MEC electronic installed, the code is SP RB 120.

Glad to hear you are happy with your Rockbass!
