    I really need to see that. I loved the books.

    Speaking of fantasy novels turned into movies, is anybody else here looking forward to A Wrinkle In Time? I was a huge fan of the novels as a kid. I hope the story is as good as I remember, and of course I hope the film does it justice.

    Honestly I’m very skeptical of new films, particularly sci-fi ones, and I love the genre.

    Though I would give this one a B+ at best, but it's a fun romp of a Philip K. Dick adaptation (short story Second Variety).

    I finally watched The Room last night, in anticipation of seeing The Disaster Artist. The Room is every bit as hilariously bad as you've heard. Tone-deaf dialogue, subplots that go nowhere, overly-long sex scenes with unsexy grunting, and bad acting galore. I felt a little bad watching it. I mean, the only reason to enjoy it was to feel smugly superior to the deluded soul that directed it, and that felt a little gross. But at the same time, I did get quite a few genuine laughs out of it. So I guess I have mixed feelings about the whole thing.
